The Cipherpoint Group is focussed on enabling our teams to improve the security posture of our customers through optimising what they have and augmenting where needed with managed and professional services. Our best of breed security operations centre and highly trained operations teams monitor customer environments to allow quick and effective response to incidents. Our advisory team helps to determine and implement “reasonable steps” identify and mitigate cyber risk, utilising industry best practice standards such as the NIST framework and ASD Essential 8.

Steven Bliim
Chairman
Steven is the Non-Executive Director at Cipherpoint. With over 12 years of experience in both Australia and the US, Steven is responsible for capital planning and forecasting, treasury management, global financial reporting and statutory compliance. Since joining the company in 2012, he has played a key role in the group’s expansion into the US, UK and Europe, along with the reverse acquisition of Prime Minerals Limited and subsequent re-listing of the company on the ASX in November 2014.
Prior to joining the company, Steven worked in business services and tax advisory for over seven years, consulting primarily to small-to-medium enterprises and primary production businesses. Steven is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand and holds a Bachelor of Commerce – Accounting from the University of South Australia.

Ken Benson
Non-Executive Director
Ken is a highly successful Senior Executive with extensive experience. He has held senior executive positions at leading international telecommunications companies such as British Telecom, Telecom New Zealand and Telstra Corporation and currently runs his own consulting business. His experience includes serving as both Chairman and Director of Telecommunications related companies in EMEA and Asia Pacific regions and he has led numerous strategic change initiatives to both build businesses and improve business performance. He is recognised as a network technology expert in wireline, wireless and submarine cable and the application of emerging and future technologies. Highly accomplished in commercial negotiations and business delivery.
Ken firmly believes business success is all about people and providing teams with a meaningful purpose/vision, establishing clear accountabilities and agreed objectives. People like a balance between stretch targets, development opportunities, appropriate reward and having fun.

Mark is the founder of VITCS. He has over 15 years of experience in IT Services and security across government, healthcare, not for profit and aerospace industries. He is passionate about helping customers achieve their strategic vision.

Hugh Stodart
General Manager
Hugh is an experienced and outcome-focused product portfolio manager with substantial expertise in security services and solutions for enterprise, small business and government.
At Cipherpoint, he is responsible for the group technology strategy and product portfolio. Through logical, market-focused analysis, Hugh sets and implements the strategy for new products, manages the lifecycle and optimisation of existing solutions, and is accountable for the revenue and profitability of the group companies.
Prior to this role, Hugh managed Telstra’s enterprise security product portfolio for 15 years and drove the development of managed and cloud services from inception to a broad portfolio. Additionally, he spent time within Telstra Research and Development Management, commercialising intellectual property developed by Telstra, and Telstra Ventures (a venture capital subsidiary) where he evaluated investment opportunities and managed seed capital investments for start-ups.
Hugh began his career as a graduate with the Defence Signals Directorate, an intelligence agency within the Australian Department of Defence, and then worked for the Privacy Commission as a research officer. He holds a Bachelor of Law (Hons) and Bachelor of Science (Hons) from Australian National University, and an Executive MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
